Mrs. Rozalia Kruszynski, aged 78, of 838 South Pulaski Street, died early today in her home after an illness of two years. Born in Germany March 15, 1871, she came to South Bend from that country 60 years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Mielke and Mrs. Nettie Rafalski; four sons, Frank and Alex Wydrzynski, Ignatius and Stanley Kruszynski; a stepson Frank Kruszynski, all of South Bend; one stepdaughter, Sister M. Tadeja, of the Sisters of Nazareth, Amber, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 2 pm Sunday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. The funeral will take place at 9:30 am Tuesday in St. Mary of the Holy Rosary Polish National Catholic church with Rev. John Siembida, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish cemetery. Taken from the South Bend Tribune, August 6, 1949.
