SOUTH BEND - Colette C. Woolley, 82, passed away at 9:12 am Thursday, January 7, 2016, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She was born April 22, 1933, in South Bend, to the late Eugene and Viola (Kulchar) Berndt, and remained a lifelong area resident. On December 31, 1976, in South Bend, Colette married Henry P. Woolley, who survives. She is also survived by daughters, Marianne (Frank) Cobarrubias of Green Valley, AZ, Patti (Jack) Spice of South Bend and Pamela Podemski of Bristol, IN; sons, Randy (Mona) Milliken of Collinwood, TN, Ricky (Roberta) Milliken of South Bend and Jack (Sarah) Woolley of South Bend; son-in-law, Charles Harper of South Bend; stepsons, Jason, Matthew, Ethan and Aaron Woolley, all of South Bend; twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Janice (Tom) Manges of Battle Ground, WA; and her brother, Philip (Darlene) Berndt of South Bend. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Harper. Colette was a 1951 graduate of Washington High School and was runner-up for Miss South Bend in 1952. She enjoyed gardening, planting trees and landscaping, as well as bird watching. There will be no public services. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
