SOUTH BEND - Viola M. Berndt, 82, of Swygart St. Died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Colette Woolley of Cassopolis and Janice Manges of Wichita, Kan.; a son, Phillip of South Bend; a sister, Isabell Hupka of South Bend; and a brother, Emery Horvath of South Bend. Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Fr. Where friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until services.
