Helen P. Szabo, 73, of 409 S. Laurel St., died at 1:35a.m. today in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mrs. Szabo retired from Bendix Corp. after 30 years of service. She was born April 21, 1919, in Superior WI, and lived in Mishawaka for 53 years, coming from Superior. On May 30, 1940, in Superior as Helen P. Burbul, she married Julius J. Szabo. He survives with a daughter, Joan Ferrero of Chicopee, MA; and two sisters, Sister Ann of Sylvania, OH and Vicky Reed of Superior.
