Mardell Antisdel

Osceola -- Mardell "Mardi" Antisdel, 53, of 10201 Bradie Way, died at 4:25 p.m. Saturday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Antisdel was employed by the University of Notre Dame in their accounting department for 13 years. She was born Dec. 30, 1939 in Cassopolis, moving to Osceola 23 years ago. On May 8, 1956, in Anchorage, Alaska, as Mardell Barnum, she married Nelson Henry "Bud" Antisdel. He survives with a daughter, Martha Marie Rasmussen of Elkhart; three sons, Nelson Jr. of Fort Wayne, Steven of Osceola, and Matthew of Birmingham, Ala.; four grandchildren, her father Donald Barnum of Grand Junction, Mich.; a sister, Jane Herman of Cassopolis; and two brothers, Howard Barnum of Niles, and Keith Barnum of Cassopolis; and three stepsisters, Joretta Middleton of Dowagiac, Shirley Slaughter of Grand Junction, and Sharon Bassett of Benton Harbor. She was a member of Osceola United Methodist Church, American Women's Business Association and Order of Eastern Star in Cassopolis. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Warner Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be made to Osceola United Methodist Church.
