SOUTH BEND - Joseph J. Kloski, 84, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in his brother Bernie's residence. Joe was born November 26, 1928 in South Bend to the late Edward and Mary (Wozniak) Kloski. Joe is also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Kloski. On December 11, 1982, Joe married Blanche (Piekarski) Kloski in South Bend, she survives along with a son, Michael Kloski of South Bend; brothers, Bernard (Catherine) Kloski, Al (Lorraine) Kloski, John Kloski, and Frank Kloski all of South Bend; sister, Gertrude Burko of Cleveland, OH; stepchildren, Carol (Thomas) Koepp of Granger, James Lechtanski of South Bend; grandchildren, Melissa (Tim) Cornell, T.J. (Amy) Koepp, Michael (Crystal) Kloski and Ryan (Erin) Kloski; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In 1984, Joe retired from Uniroyal after many years of service; and he was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and maintaining his cottage on Finch Lake in Marcellus, MI. Joe loved his family, especially his wife who was the love of his life. He was always there for his brothers and sisters. Joe was a friend to everyone he met and would help anyone who needed it. Visitation for Joseph will be 4:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, September 6, 2013 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERALHOME 824 S. Mayflower Rd. where a Rosary will be prayed at 5:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
