[N29816] Julie A. Kimmel
nee Harbaugh
April 28, 1959 - April 24, 2009

SOUTH BEND - Julie A. Kimmel, 49, of 932 E. Chippewa Ave., passed away at 12:29 p.m. Friday, April 23rd, after a short illness. She was a homemaker. She was born April 28, 1959, in South Bend. She graduated from North Liberty High School in 1977. She was married on Nov. 16, 1984, in South Bend, to James T. Kimmel. He survives along with her mother, Helen Harbaugh of Mishawaka, two sons, Eric A. and Korey R., and a sister, Debbie (Dave) Keck, all of South Bend. Julie was stay-at-home mom, always supporting the sporting events and being at every game they played. We had a wonderful life together. I will miss my loving wife, my life partner and my very best friend. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and friend. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews throughout the U.S., including two nephews in the Armed Forces. Julie said turning 50 was no problem. I will miss you baby. Remember our secret. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be appreciated. Cremation will take place. There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the A.M. Manuel Funeral Home, North Liberty.
