SOUTH BEND - Jennifer A. Farkas, 41, passed away at 11:40am Monday, February 29, 2016 in Memorial Hospital. Jennifer was born on February 19, 1975 in South Bend to Leslie and Linda (Palmer) Farkas. She was employed by the U.S. Department of Commerce in the Census Bureau. Jennifer enjoyed walking her dog Sid through Rum Village Park, singing Karaoke and volunteering at the Center for the Homeless. Surviving are her son Teddy Braun of South Bend, father Leslie (Deborah) Farkas of South Bend, mother Linda Palmer of Mishawka, companion Ricky Watts of South Bend brother Carlos Maez and maternal grandparents Richard and Jo Palmer. A Celebration of Life will take place at 7:00pm Monday, March 7, 2016 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Friends may gather from 5-7 Monday in the funeral home.
