Agnes Slott, daughter of Jacob Slott, married Joseph Cierzniak, son of Stephan Cierzniak, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in New Carlisle, St. Joseph County, Indiana on July 8, 1895. According to the census records, Agnes and Joseph Cierniak lived in South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. Their children included (in birth order): Frank, Stanley, Felix/Phil, and Henrietta. In addition to her children, four of Agnes' siblings survived her: Mrs. Mary Shultz, Mrs. Blanche [Pelagia] Kus, Mrs. Frances Stark [Straszynski], and Joseph Slott.
