James A. Hanks, (Jimmy) 48, of Mishawaka, IN., passed away at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center Mishawaka after a long battle with cancer. James was born on February 11, 1974 in South Bend, IN., to James O. and Beverly (Armentrout) Hanks. James is survived by his mother, Beverly Hanks of Mishawaka, three sisters; Paula Cochran, Rachel Szikszai and Jullie (Carter) Stucker all of Tulsa, OK, one brother, Jason (Tracey) Hanks of Mishawaka along with two nieces, one nephew and three great nieces. James was preceded in death by his father James O. Hanks on March 31, 2016. James was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. He had many friends and touched the lives of their children. James loved SUPERMAN, music, baseball, science and Sci Fi. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services for James will be held on Monday, December 5, at 12:00 p.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street with visitation being held from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
