South Bend - Dolores J. Ciesielski, 91, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side in Marietta, Georgia on Friday, March 5, 2021. Dolores was on born September 24, 1929 in Honeycreek, Iowa. Dolores married Raymond Ciesielski on October 7, 1950, he preceded her in death on December 25, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Lucille (Whitmer) Carr. Left to cherish the memory of Dolores is her daughter, Carlyn (Darren) Ice of Marietta, GA; sister, Carolyn Gunter of Phoenix, AZ; nephew, Jeff Gunter of Phoenix, AZ; niece, Kimberly Gunter of Littleton, CO; and dear friend, Father Jan Klimczyk, of South Bend, IN. Dolores dedicated her life to her family and church. She worked as a secretary for St. Adalbert Catholic Church and School as well as volunteering to assist with events needing assistance. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. Adalbert Catholic Church followed by Entombment at St. Joseph Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made for Masses to Father Jan Klimczyk, 419 S. Camden St., South Bend, IN 46619. Condolences for the family may be made on this website.
