Michelle “Mitch” Miller, 68, passed away on November 13, 2022. Mitch was born on February 26, 1954, in Mishawaka to the late Wayne "Bugs" and Lydia (Ricci) Miller. She graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1972. Mitch dedicated nearly 40 years to serving and caring for others at the South Bend Clinic. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and taking her niece and nephews hiking. She especially loved to go to the Blueberry festival every year with her daughter. She was always one to join her daughter and friends for a karaoke night at one of the local dive bars and was never one to shy away from a shot of tequila. Mitch is survived by her grandchildren, Emma and Ethan Miller; brother, Rick (Julie) Miller; sister-in-law, Wanda Meredith; niece, Cassandra Miller and nephews, Anthony Miller and Joseph (Emily) Miller. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karrie Jacobs; parents and her brother, Dean Miller. Karrie's close friend Keith Price has played an instrumental role during these challenging times and has stepped up to raise Emma and Ethan as Karrie and Mitch would have wanted. Visitation will be 4pm-6pm, Thursday, November 17th, at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka. Services will immediately follow at 6pm. A memorial dinner will follow the services at 100 center Hacienda.
