BRISTOL - Robert "Bob" N. Kozlowski, 74, peacefully passed away at 9:45 am Tuesday September 9, 2014 at his home. He was born on May 4, 1940 in South Bend to the late Bert and Julia (Rojics) Kozlowski. On December 31, 1966 he was married to Jean King who survives. Also surviving are 4 daughters, Denise (Becca) Kozlowski of Bristol, Angela Kozlowski of Bristol, Rose (Jim) Watkins of Elkhart, PJ Metzger of South Bend, 1 son, Robert Kozlowski Jr. of Minnesota, 2 grandchildren, James Watkins of Elkhart and Carmen Kozlowski of Bristol, 3 brothers Bert Jr. (Patricia) Kozlowski of Oregon, Carl (Gary) of South Bend, Mike (Linda) Kozlowski of South Bend, 2 sisters Dottie (Sid) Moore of South Bend and Julie (Dennis) Vance of Edwardsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marie Lambert. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War and worked at Keystone RV Company in Goshen. He took great joy in playing war type PC games, hunting, archery, and throwing boomerangs. A majority of his time, while not working, was spent with his newest grandchild, his pride and joy. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 at the American Legion Post 284, 23571 Grant Road South Bend, IN, at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Center for Hospice Care of Elkhart County. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements. Published in South Bend Tribune on Sept. 13, 2014
