On Oct. 13, 1903, Martin Grabarz, son of Vincent & Magdalena Kwiatkowski Grabarz married Michalina Wegner, daughter of Michael & Catherine Podemska Wegnernowski. -from the marriage records of St. Casimir's Catholic Church, South Bend, IN. Martin Grabarz worked in the mechanical department of the Northern Indiana Transit company for 37 years, retiring two years before his death. His survivors included his wife Michalina, also known as Minnie, two sons, a daughter, a brother, two sisters, and a grandchild. His funeral was held at St Casimir's Church with his son, Father Casimir F. Grabarz, C.S.C., officiating. -from obituary published Mon., May 8, 1950 in the South Bend Tribune
