Age 70 of 431 S illinois, died at 5:46 p.m. in Memorial Hospital where he was taken after falling 14 feet while working on the roof of his home. Coroner Trenerry said he struck his head when he fell. He retired in Jan. as St. Joseph County Building Inspector. Services at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, burial in Highland Cemetery. He was a Veteran WW II. On 8-24-1946 he married Hattie Calbach who survives with a daughter Mrs Kathleen Walczewski.
