Born 10 Dec 1895 Bertrand MI, he had lived here 50 years coming from Bertrand; Obit 14 Jan 1968, age 72 of 1014 Huey St was dead on arrival shortly after 10 a.m. at St Joseph's Hospital. He had suffered an apparent heart attack while attending mass at St Stanislaus Catholic Church. He had been a building contractor 40 years. Services at St Stanislaus Catholic Church, burial in Highland Cemetery. On 9 Apr 1917 he married Anna M Pawlak who survives with 3 sons: Stanley and Joseph of So Bend, John Jr of Glenwood Ill; 4 daughters; Mrs Genevieve Cencelewski, Mrs Eveline Krzypiec, Mrs Joan Kulczak and Mrs Theresa Banicki, all of So Bend, 15 grandchildren; a brother Frank of NIles; 5 sisters: Mrs Josephine Ivins and Mrs Mary Jones, both of Niles MI, Mrs Helen Mahar of Dowagiac Mi, Mrs Stella Jacobs and Mrs Antoinette Chrzan both of So Bend.
