Clem Wieczorek, 48, of 1118 N. Brookfield St., died at 4 p.m. Thursday at home after a brief illness. He was an employee of the Drewrys Limited USA, Inc. He was born July 1, 1917 in South Bend, and was married June 15, 1940 in South Bend to Julia Smiecinski, who survives. Other survivors are a brother, Frank, of South Bend; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Puszynski, Mrs. Verna Klemczewski, Mrs. Helen Tompkins and Mrs. Stella Arnold, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph Zawistowski, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Wierczorek a member of the Polish National Union of America, Drewrys Limited U.S.A. Inc. Local Union 275, and Drewrys Employees Assn., Inc. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.
