Esther Mary Ratajczak Moore, 68, of Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis. Mrs. Moore was born Oct. 22, 1918, in South Bend and lived in South Bend 51 years before moving to Lafayette and then Indianapolis. Her husband, Vern Moore, died in 1978. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Zgonina and Carolyn Burton; four sons, Timothy, Joseph, Daniel and Patrick; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Paszek; and a brother, Alfred Ray.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Luke Catholic Church, Indianapolis. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lafayette. Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Leppert & Copeland Mortuary, 740 E. 86th St., Indianapolis. Mrs. Moore was a member of the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
