Obituary South Bend Tribune, Saturday, April 28, 1962 Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Wadzinski, 76, of 1802 S. Taylor St., who died 9:40 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Hedwig's Catholic Church with Rev. Boleslaus Sztuczko, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. She was born March 4, 1886, in Poland, and came to South Bend 55 years ago. She was married in Poland on Nov. 22, 1903, to Henry Wadzinski, who preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons, Felix, Casimer, Joseph, and Stanley, all of South Bend; two daughters, Sister Mary Lea, C.S.C., of Chicago, and Mrs. Lottie Golba of South Bend; one sister, Mrs. Lotie Nowicki in Poland. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the St. Joseph Funeral Chapel. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel by the Apostleship of Prayer of St. Hedwig's Church and the Third Order of St. Francis, and on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. by the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. She was a member of these organizations.
ADDITIONAL: One son Leon "Leo" Wadzinski preceded her in death in 1940 and is buried beside her.
