Born 17 Apr 1905 Chicago; died 1 Jul 1995 age 90 of Prast Blvd; died at 8 a.m. in Northwood Nursing Home. She was a former employee at St Joseph's High School, and had lived in So Bend for 65 years. Services at St Hedwig Catholic Church; burial at St Joseph Cemetery. On 26 Feb 1930 in Chicasgo as Eugenia Milostan she married John J Gapczynski who died in 1956. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs Joan Rozycki and Ann Gapczynski both of So Bend; two sons, Norb and Peter, both of So Bend and 2 grand daughters.

SOUTH BEND - Eugenia P. Gapczynski, 90, of Prast Boulevard, died at 8 a.m. Saturday in Northwood Nursing Home. Mrs. Gapczynski was a former employee of St. Joseph's High School. She was born April 17, 1905, in Chicago and had lived in South Bend for 65 years. On Feb. 26, 1930, in Chicago, as Eugenia Milostan, she married John J. Gapczynski. He died in 1956. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Rozycki and Anne Gapczynski, both of South Bend; two sons, Norb and Peter, both of South Bend; and two granddaughters. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Hedwig Catholic Church and Polish Roman Catholic Union Group 305.Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. and a vigil service will begin at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
