[N83] Cecelia Mary Wieczorek
Aug. 12, 1919 - Nov. 16, 2009
SOUTH BEND - Cecelia Mary Trzcinski Albrecht Wieczorek, 90, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009, at 2:30 a.m. in Golden Living Center in Mishawaka, IN. Cecelia was born on August 12, 1919, in South Bend, to the late John and Mary (Lisiecki) Trzcinski. On June 27, 1942, she married Leon S. Wieczorek in St. Casimir Catholic Church. They were married 53 years before dad passed away on May 19, 1995. Survivors include daughters, Diane (Ron) Szymanowski of South Bend and Carol (Ron) Batson of Mishawaka; her grandchildren whom she loved to be around, Lisa (Jim) Funk of South Bend, Debbie (Brad) Horvath of South Bend, Michael (Jenny) Rairdon of Mishawaka and Jeffrey Szymanowski; also by her great-grandchildren, Samantha and Christian Funk of South Bend, Jesse, Cody and Heather Horvath of South Bend, Lindsay, Benjamin and Jacob Rairdon of Mishawaka. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; her sisters, Stella Urbanski, Louise Dobosiewicz, Irene Wroblewski, Helen Zientowski; and brothers, Walter Albrecht, William Albrecht and Roman Albrecht. Celia worked at Notre Dame for 19 years. She enjoyed working there and all the boys she considered her sons. She always had stories to tell us about Notre Dame. She really enjoyed going to the Notre Dame picnics and Christmas party for the retirees. We had so much fun with mom when we were growing up. We would take her shopping at Robertson's and enjoyed watching her try on wigs; we laughed all day. She also loved taking all the kids and our friends to Clear Lake to spend the day when we were in grade school. There are so many memories we are all remembering with laughter that is giving us comfort at this sad time. She is the one that took us to Farmers Market Saturdays for breakfast. And we can't forget about her dog, Dolly, who was her companion in her later years. How she loved that dog; he was her buddy. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, November 19, at 1:00 p.m. in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Rest in Peace Mom, you deserve it. You took care of a lot of people in your lifetime so now it's your turn to rest and be with dad. We shall all be together one day. Matthews 5:4 "Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted." For those who are unable to attend the funeral liturgy, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
