Joseph Martin Chlebek

Joseph Martin Chlebek, 65, of 55310 Moss Rd., died at 7 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was employed by the Mathis Machine Shop. Born March 9, 1902, in South Bend, he married July 3, 1929, to the former Clara Dorn who survives along with three sons, Joseph of Wheeling, Ill., Donald of Mishawaka, and Richard of South Bend; three daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Elias and Mrs. Lorraine Elias, both of South Bend, and Miss Mary Kay at home; eight grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Stanley Busse of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Jacobs, paster, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today and again at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. South Bend Tribune 10 June 1967
