Kobiele Wielkie is a village in Radomsko County, L©ddz Voivodeship, in central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Kobiele Wielkie. It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) east of Radomsko and 84 km (52 mi) south of the regional capital Lodz. The village has an approximate population of 800. It is the birthplace of Nobel laureate, writer Wladyslaw Reymont. There are two monuments commemorating him, in the village.
