Robert C. Koloszar, 79, passed away at 8:00am Friday, January 15, 2021 in Briarcliff Health & Rehab from complications of Covid-19. Robert was born on April 4, 1941 in South Bend to Frank and Elizabeth Koloszar. They preceded him in death along with a sister, Elizabeth “Tootsie” Urbanski. Bob retired in 2005 from the South Bend Community School Corporation where he was employed for 31 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and roller skating in his younger years. Surviving are a daughter, Tina Casavant of Pawtucket, RI; sons, Mark (Joan Parmley) Koloszar of Mishawaka and Brian (Kimberly) Koloszar of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Zachary Casavant, Cody Casavant, Alexis (Preston) Newbraugh, and Abby Koloszar; a great-grandchild, Sylas Newbraugh; and brother, Frank (Norma) Koloszar Jr. There will be no services, cremation will take place.
