Mishawaka - Mrs. Marian Michels, 76, of 1412 Marblehead Drive, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital following a short illness. Born on June 6, 1903, in Larium, Mich., she had resided in this area for 60 years. On Oct. 1, 1923, in South Bend, as Marian Dubala, she married Gerald Michels. Survivng with her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Mary Ann) Demske of Mishawaka and Miss Patricia Michels of Arlington, Wash.; a son, Frank J. of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and a brother, Frank Dubala of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Mrs. Michels was a member of St. Josephs Church, Harvest House and was a past regent of the Daughters of Isabella.

Services for Marian Michels, 76, of 1412 Marblehead, who died Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital following a short illness, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Josephs Church. Rev. Robert Hoevel, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
