Edmund R. Nowicki, 91, of Cambridge Drive, South Bend IN, passed away at 2:10pmon Wednesday, December 10, in Memorial Hospital

He was born on October 14, 1912, in South Bend, to Walter and Josephine (Madaj) Nowicki, who preceded him in death.

On November 23, 1939, in South Bend, he married Dorothy Van Hoke, who survives him. Edmund is also survived by a son, David J. (Mary Lou) Nowicki of Canton MI; grandchildren, Kathleen (Thomas) Kunkle and Daniel (Dawn) Nowicki; and by five great grandchildren

He retired in 1977 from Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis where he was a tool designer. Edmund was a member of St. Jude Church. He was a 3rd Degree Knight of the K of C #533.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm today, December 12, in St Joseph Funeral Home, 1827 E. Ireland Road. A rosary will be prayed at 5pm. Funeral services will be at 11am on Saturday, December 13, in St Jude Church. Burial will be at St Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
