Mishawaka - Joseph Louis Pola, 57, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, August 16, 2021. Joseph was born on February 7, 1964, in Mishawaka to the late Dante and Joan Pola. On June 23, 1990, in Mishawaka, Joseph married Lorna Miller who survives. Also surviving are his children, Corey (Jennifer) Miller and Jessica (Richard Dodson) who was like a daughter to him; grandchildren, Kevin Miller and James Jordan; sisters, Gina Mynsberge and Theresa Bodnar; brothers, Dante (Debbie) Pola and Tom Pola; brothers-in-law, Lomond (Janine) Fairley and Argyll Fairley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joseph is a 1983 graduate of Mishawaka High School. For over 20 years he has worked at Amerimax Building Products. He was very dedicated to his work and loved by his co-workers. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Notre Dame Football fan. He looked forward to his season tickets and never missed a game. Joe loved spending time at home relaxing with his loving wife and spending time with his grandkids who lovingly called him "papa". Visitation will be 2-6 pm on Sunday, August 22nd at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street Mishawaka, IN. Funeral Services will be 10 am on Monday, August 23rd at the funeral home with the burial immediately following at Fairview Cemetery.
