Mrs. Peter Szkielka
June 1, 1878 - January 16, 1934
Mrs. Anastasia Szkielka, aged 55, died in her home at 1923 West Linden Avenue Tuesday morning at 10:47 o'clock following an illness of six months. Born in Poland, June 1, 1878, she came to South Bend from that country 45 years ago and was married September 5, 1898, in St Hedwige's Roman Catholic Church to Peter Szkielka, who survives. Surviving also are four children, Mrs. Mary Lewandowski, Mrs. Theresa Paprocki and Richard, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Barbara Malak, of Chicago; three grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Nowacki, Mrs. Antoinette Walkowski and Mrs. Rose Slomski. The body may be viewed in the residence. The funeral will take place Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from St Stanislaus B. M. Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Boleslaus J. Sztuczko, CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph's Polish Cemetery.
