Date of birth and names of parents are in the records of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, South Bend, Indiana, as transcribed by Chris Kovach in "Hungarian Immigrant Collection" on St. Joseph Co. INGenWeb. Date and place of death are givien in his Indiana death certificate foe which his wife, mary (Hadary) Lichkay was the informant. She reported that he was a veteran and had worked in industry. Her understanding of his date of birth and tha names of his parents match the cited church records.
