Private funeral rites were conducted. Thursday afternoon for Anna Obren, year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Obren. 2205 South William street, who died Christmas day after four week illness with spinal meningitis. The funeral took place in the Zahoran chapel and burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery. The child was born in South Bend Sept. 16, 1934. Surviving besides the parents are two sisters, Rose, and Violet,and four brothers, Peter, Stephen, Andrew, and George Jr. all at home.
