Mrs. Pauline Vervynckt, 64, of 318 E. 10th, who died Friday in St. Joseph's Hospital, South bend, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Hahn-Peffley-DeVos Chapel. Rev Robert Mahoney, assistant pastor of St. Bavo's Catholic Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Vervynckt had been ill for the last two months. She was born on April 5, 1914, in South Bend, and lived her lifetime n this area. On July 25, 1930, in St Joseph, Mich., as Pauline Popielska, she married Maurice Vervynckt. He died in 1959. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Shirley Yeakey and Mrs. Phyllis Eakins, both of Mishawaka: Mrs. Martha Vervynckt of Franklin, N.C., and Mrs. Bertha Wroblewski of Aurora, Ill.; three sons, Marshall of South Bend, Ron of Mishawaka and Larry of Roselawn, Ind.; 21 grandchildren, two great-grand children and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Patterson of South Bend. Another son, Robert, died in 1974.
