Maurice Vervynckt, 47, of 719 Summit Lane, died in St. Joseph's Hospital at 6 a.m. today, his 29th wedding anniversary. He had been ill for six weeks and entered the hospital three days ago. He was born in Penn Twp. and was a lifetime resident of this community. Mr. Vervynckt and Pauline Popielska were married in St. Joseph, Mich., July 25, 1930. He had been employed by Drewrys Ltd., USA, for the last 15 years. Surviving are his widow; four sons, Robert Lee, Larry and Ronnie Dean Vervynckt, all at home, and Marshall Vervynckt, of South Bend; four daughters, Martha Irene and Phyllis Jean Vervynckt, at home, and Mrs. Mearl Yeakey and Mrs. Casimer Wroblewski, both of this city; four grandchildren, three brothers, Raymond, Ardell and Alvert Vervynckt, all of Mishawaka, and three sisters, Mrs. Clyde Snyder, of thes city, Mrs. Kenneth Schweisberger of Wakarusa, and Mrs. Maurice Scheyving, of South Bend. Friends may call at the Bubb Chapel after 7 p,m, Sunday.
