Gregory “Greg” James Borlik
January 28, 1949 - October 9, 2017
South Bend - Gregory James Borlik, 68, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Gregory was born January 28, 1949 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Leonard and Mary (Galeziewski) Borlik. On May 1, 1976 in St. Mary Parish PNCC Gregory married Dorothy (Chodzinski) Borlik, she survives along with their daughter, Doreen Borlik: and a sister, Bonnie Borlik. Greg graduated from Washington High School in 1967. He was employed with the RACO Corporation for 35 years. Greg was an avid Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan. He enjoyed watching NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, CSI Miami, MASH and John Wayne movies. He also enjoyed trips to Argos, IN to see the steam trains. Time spent with his wife and daughter meant the most. The family would like to extend a special thank you Dr. Jamie Stone and Dr. Stevens Marshall for coming to the house to care for and visit Greg; and Dr. Morris Bollegraf for taking the time to diagnose Greg with Multiple Sclerosis. They would also like to thank everyone at Grace Hospice, especially Deb, Betty and Annette for all the wonderful care and support given to Greg, his wife and daughter. ST.
