South Bend-Robert John Wesolowski, 68, passed away at 7:55am, Friday, October 24, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. Robert was born May 19, 1946 in South Bend to Stanley and Marie (Jozwiak) Wesolowski. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Stanley and brother-in-law Ervin Machowiak. On August 22, 1970 in South Bend, Robert married Beverly (Gorbitz). She survives along with their children, Ann Wesolowski of South Bend, Stacey (Clem) Borkowski of Colorado Springs, CO; and Brent Wesolowski of Granger; mother, Marie Wesolowski of South Bend; brothers and sisters, Kathleen Machowiak, Ronald (Sandy), Lawrence (Velda), and Cynthia Wood; sister-in-law, Toni (Robert) Gorbitz- Thompson of Nashville, TN; and grandchildren Zoey, Haley and Asher Borkowski and Jack Wesolowski. Robert was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He loved to golf and took pride in maintaining his yard but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation for Robert will be 1-2pm, Monday, October 27, 2014 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Funeral Service at 2pm Monday in the Funeral Home.
