SOUTH BEND - Marie I. Wesolowski, 98, passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the West Bend Nursing Facility. Marie was born October 11, 1916 in South Bend to the late John and Ann (Wasielewski) Jozwiak. On June 18, 1938 in South Bend Marie married her loving husband of 63 years Stanley Wesolowski in South Bend, he preceded her in death on December 2, 2002. Marie is also preceded in death by a son, Robert Wesolowski; granddaughter, Denise Wesolowski; grandson, Joey Siders; great-grandson, Ricky Scott; son-in-law, Ervin Machowiak; six brothers, and a sister. Survivors of Marie include her children, Kathleen Machowiak, Cynthia Wood, Ronald (Sandy) Wesolowski, Lawrence (Velda) Wesolowski; daughter-in-law, Beverly Wesolowski; grandchildren, Patti Scott, John (Susan) Machowiak, Brian (Melissa) Machowiak, Jayne (Steve) Smith, Daren (Dawn) Wesolowski, Ann Wesolowski, Stacey (Clem) Borkowski, Brent Wesolowski, Jeff (Tamie) Wesolowski, Aaron (Rachelle) Wood and Amanda (Josh) Grinis; 19 Great- Grandchildren; and 7 Great- Great-grandchildren. Marie previously lived on West Dunham Street. She was a parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church and Harvest House. Marie also was a member of the Michiana Polka Singers. Most of all, Marie enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation for Marie will be 2:00pm to 4:00pm Sunday June 14, 2015 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00am Monday, June 15, 2015 in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's & Dementia Services, 922 E. Colfax, South Bend, IN 46617. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
