NEW CARLISLE - Michael R. Piechocki 85, of New Carlisle passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. A resident of Hamilton Grove. He was born on December 24, 1936, in South Bend, IN. to the late Marshall and Elizabeth Piechocki. On November 12, 1966, Michael married the late Sharon L. Elkins. A surviving son Richard, daughter in law Michele, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also surviving are Michael’s sisters, Carolyn (John), Kathleen (Ronald) and nieces and nephews (including from preceded in death, his sister Patricia’s). Michael is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Marcelli, and a sister Patricia. Michael worked at Gately’s, Gates Chevrolet and Weller Truck Parts. He enjoyed model trains, cars, camping and the casino, on occasion. A private Gravesite Memorial Service to be held for the family at the New Carlisle Cemetery.
