HANOVER--Charles R. Slisze, 62, died Wednesday at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of South Bend, Ind., a retired construction worker, an employee of Hanover Nursing Center, an Air Force veteran and a member of American legion Post 9. Survivors: his companion, Rita Vierling; daughters Cheri Lucien and Kim Pierce; a son, Kevin Slisze; stepdaughters Julie Steward, Terry Baxter, Stacey Fields and Jana Branham; stepsons, Jack, Alan and Skip Hartwell; sisters Jeannie Navrotsky, Phyllis Dorsey, Loretta Soper, Christine Monnier, Sandra Van Winkle, Rose Cornelius and Jackie Eggeson; brothers Casey Dlisz and Tammy Car-others; and several grandchildren. Funeral: 7 p.m. Friday, Hanover Baptist Church. Graveside servce: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Springdale Cemetery, Madison, Visitation: the church, 5-7 pm Friday. Arrangements: Vail-Holt.
