WARSAW - Ernest Theodore Kolesiak of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at his residence at the age of 75 surrounded by family. He was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana, for the past 39 years where he was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw. He had a deep faith in God and the Catholic Church. Ernest served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1962 until 1965 when he was honorably discharged. He retired as the Director of International Services for Zimmer, Inc. of Warsaw He was born on October 12, 1939, in South Bend, Indiana, to Theodore A. Kolesiak and Casmira (Jeziorski) Kolesiak. On February 23, 1963, he was married to Shirley Ann (Leda) Kolesiak, who passed away on March 1, 2013. Ernest will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters: Cynthia Romine (Warsaw, Indiana), Karen (husband Kurt) Kratzsch (Warsaw, Indiana); son: Michael (wife Shannon) Kolesiak (Akron, Indiana); eight grandchildren: Zach, Megan, Jacob, Derek, Sarah, Baylee, Ashlynn & Jadyn; and one great-grandchild: Tory. He also leaves behind his sister: Tina Springer (Tucson, Arizona). He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister, Harriet Chlebek. His visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015, from 4-8:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 N. Harrison Street, Warsaw, Indiana, with a Rosary Service at 8:00 p.m. His Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw and celebrated by Father Phil DeVolder. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post #49, V.F.W. #1126 and active members of the military. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. Memorial donations may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 N. Harrison Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580; or to Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice, P.O. Box 1196, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1196 and would be appreciated by his family.
