John Michael Nowicki, 62 passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at his residence in Granger, IN. He was born on October 29, 1959 in South Bend, IN to Walter Valentine Nowicki and Ruth Joyce (Smith) Nowicki, both of whom preceded him in death. John is survived by his brother, Bob Nowicki of Chicago, IL; sister, Karen (James) Burke of South Bend; niece, Kari Marie (Chris) James; and a great nephew, Ethan Dhoore. John graduated from Lasalle High School in 1978. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Indiana University. He worked for many years as an engineer. He had an interest in guns and repaired guns for the police informally. He also enjoyed cooking. He was a very friendly and social person.No funeral services will be held at this time.
