March 21, 1927 - Feb. 17, 1998 ELKHART - Valentine Walter “Bill” Nowicki, 70, 313 S. Fifth St., died Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Betty; four daughters, Gretta Wooten of Kentwood, Mich., Bonnie Ludlow of Elkhart, Debra Hilliard of Springfield, Ohio, and Karen Burke of Mishawaka; three sons, David L. Fleisher of Dowagiac, John M. Nowicki of South Bend and Robert D. Nowicki of Elmwood Park, Ill., and a sister, Gloria Carr of Granger. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour before services Saturday.
