On Nov. 29, 1905, Rev. Val Czyzewski, Rector of St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in South Bend, Indiana, married Katherine Rybarkiewicz and Joseph Jendrzejewski. The marriage applications they filed with the county indicate that Katherine, a cigar maker in South Bend, was born in the city on Aug. 13, 1884 to William (sic) and Agnes (Witucki) Rybarkiewicz, and that Joseph, a moulder in South Bend, was born Nov. 28, 1883 in the city to Jacob & Josephine Jendrzejewski. It was the first marriage for both of them.

Katarzyna's date and place of death, and her place of interment are given in her death certificate for which her mother, Agnes Rybarkiewicz, was the informant. Her mother reported that Katarzyna was married, the wife of Joseph Jendrzejewski.
