Celebrating their 65th anniversary with a family gathering are Elsie and Maurice VanBruaene of Peoria, AZ. Maurice VanBruaene and Elsie Belli married September 11, 1948 in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka. They have two children, Mary Scherer of Scottsdale, AZ, and Michael of Valley Glen, CA. They also have three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. VanBruaene retired in 1986 as superintendent of system operations after 44 years with Indiana & Michigan Power Company, Fort Wayne. Mrs. Van Bruaene retired in 1984 after 15 years as executive secretary for Northill Corp., Fort Wayne.
