Andrew was a machinist. He retired from South Bend Lathe in 1971. He then went to work for Walerko Tool and Die for seven years until he retired in 1978. He was a member of the BK Club in Mishawaka, a member of De Amici's, and a lifetime member of F.O.E. Barry England officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Most of you know my dad as "Andrew" or "Andy." He was a gift from God for us to share on this Earth for 96 1/2 years. He gave us friendship, laughter, love, strength and integrity. He was a simple man. No one was a stranger to him. "Thank you" was a constant in his vocabulary. He was a very extraordinary person. I called him our MMM person, meaning "Mystery Miracle Man." He made everyone in his life special. In return everyone made him special. To family, friends and Southern Care, Thank you so much. I couldn't have made this journey without your love and support. Memorial contributions may be made in Memory of Andrew to SouthernCare Hospice, 310 W. McKinley Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46545.
