GRANGER - Rita Eileen Wojtysiak, 76, of Granger, Indiana passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Loyola Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. Rita was born on March 23, 1939 in South Bend, Indiana to Patrick and Margaret (O'Malia) Gaffigan. On December 2, 1959 in South Bend, she married Joseph L. Wojtysiak and they were was blessed with five children, Will, Deb, Dan, Tina and Kim. Rita enjoyed studying the Bible and Bible Trivia and shared that love with her children. She was also a member of St. Monica Parish. She is survived by her husband; her children, Debrahn Wojtysiak (deceased 1976), William (Sunita) Taylor of South Bend, Indiana, Daniel J. Wojtysiak of Elkhart, Indiana, Tina (Larry) VanFleeren of Georgia and Kimberly (Michael) Wright of Michigan; four grandchildren, Joseph (Shellie) Wright, Amanda (Rodger) O'Connor, Jason (Catherine) Wright, and Preston (Myra) VanFleeren; ten great-grandchildren, Allyson, Lillian, Landon, Emmalynn, Logan, Lukis, Derryan, Gage, Lexi and Bentelee; three sisters, Patricia Boocher of South Bend, Indiana, Mary Baer of Elkhart, Indiana and Sara Pence of Mishawaka, Indiana; and one brother, Gregory Gaffigan of South Bend, Indiana. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Margaret Gaffigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at St. Monica Church. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.
