Steve S. Banicki, 55, of 745 S. Falcon St. was dead on arrival at 10 am
Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He
was born on May 20, 1910 in South Bend and married Clara Lukaszewski, who
survives, on June 23, 1934 in St. Adelbert's Catholic Church. Also surviving
area son, James at home; a daughter Mrs. Gerald Nijack, South Bend; three
grandchildren; a brother Leo and three sisters Mrs. Carrie Dobrucki, Mrs.
Mary Maciulski and Mrs. Helen Kajzer, all of South Bend. Friends may call
after 6:30 P.M. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home where the rosary will be
recited at 7:30. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Adelbert's
Church. Rev. John Moskal, pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph
Cemetery.
