[N318] Joseph Nowicki: (South Bend Tribune 2/22/1947)

Joseph Nowicki, aged 79, of 1345 Fisher street, died at 5:30 a.m. today in his home after an illness of two years. Born in Poland March 11, 1867, he came to South Bend from that country 54 years ago. Surviving are the widow, Marcyanna; three sons, John, Hilary and Modest Nowicki; five daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hudak, Valeria Jablonski, Mrs Kinga Kosinski and Miss Leona Nowicki; three brothers, Michael, Ladislaw and Jacob Nowicki, all of South Bend; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call in the home after 11 a.m. Sunday. The funeral will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Casimirs Catholic church by Rev. Casimir J. Witucki C.S.C., pastor. Burial will be in St. Josephs Polish cemetery.
