SOUTH BEND - Joseph E. Rozewicz of McKinney, Texas passed away January 17, 2013 at the age of 92. He was born January 1921 to John B. and Mary (Witkowski) Rozewicz in South Bend, Indiana. Joe married Virginia Wielgos on July 22, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana. He served his county proudly in the United States Army Air Force during WW II. Joe was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, PNA Group 83, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and was a Gold Card Member of National Association of Letter Carriers. He retired from the South Bend Post Office in 1979. Joe is survived by his son, Michael Rozewicz and wife Mary of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Mark Rozewicz and wife Kristi of Frisco, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Jake and Claire. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Wielgos Rozewicz; parents, John and Mary Rozewicz; sisters, Janet Grocki, Josephine Rodsynski, Gladys Kurdys, and Marie Nowatka; and brothers, John Rozewicz and Chester Rozewicz.
