SOUTH BEND - Virginia M. Rozewicz, 90, passed away at 7:53 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, in Regency Place. One day a beam of light shone, and a rose bent gently toward its warmth. Virginia Rozewicz was born August 22, 1920, in South Bend, to Paul and Stella (Matuzak) Wielgos. Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers, John, Chester and Eugene. Surviving are her loving husband, Joseph, who she married in 1946; son, Michael (Mary) Rozewicz of Granger; grandson, Mark (Kristi) of McKinney, TX; and two great-grandchildren, Jake and Claire. Joseph spent every day for the last five years by her side at Regency Care of South Bend. He is truly a loving and caring husband. Virginia was a member of ZB Falcons and PNA. Virginia's family would like to thank the staff of Regency Care for their love and caring of Virginia, and helping them through a difficult time. A private memorial service will take place with inurnment in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be no visitation. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
