Funeral services for Walter P. Chrapliwy, 56, of 1230 Queen Street, who died Thursday, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the Welshheimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Mr. Chrapliwy is survived by his wife Nellie; three sons, Walter Jr. and Larry, both of Toledo, Ohio, and Ronald of Cudhay, California; four daughters, Mrs. Carol Derseth and Miss Sandra Chrapliwy both of Cudhay, Calif., Mrs. Victoria Grall of Elkhart and Miss Patricia Chrapliwy of Hollywood, Calif.; nine grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Esther Kopanko of San Diego; and four brothers, John and Chester, both of South Bend, Peter of El Paso, Texas and Frank of Oakland, NY. Mr. Chrapliwy lived nearly all his life in South Bend.
