NEW CARLISLE - Ronald G. Piekarski, 55, of New Carlisle, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015, in his home. He was born on January 19, 1960, to the late Stanley and Mildred Piekarski. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Piekarski and a step-father, Raymond Dankowski. Ron was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from LaSalle High School in 1978. Ron is survived by his brothers, Thomas (Nancy) Piekarski of South Bend and Kenneth (Gale) Piekarski of Niles, MI; a niece, Alison Piekarski; three nephews, Andrew and Patrick Piekarski and Jason (Tima) Harwood; and by a great-nephew, Nolan Harwood. Ron had a passion for music, high power rocketry and making great chili. He had a love for the outdoors, the woods and the night sky. Private graveside services for Ron will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre Dame.
